**Tactical Buyer - Indirect Procurement - San Lorenzo, Argentina**

**In your future Role as a Tactical Buyer - Indirect Procurement you will**

Play a key role in optimizing and supporting the deployment of indirect (Non-Product Related - NPR) commercial agreements across a diverse range of spend categories. You’ll partner with global and regional stakeholders—particularly in manufacturing and engineering—to ensure total cost of ownership (TCO), compliance, and operational excellence in purchasing.

You will work across a range of categories, including but not limited to:

- _ Technical and Engineering Services (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Piping, Insulation)_
- _ Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO)_
- _ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)_
- _ Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE)_
- _ Waste Management_
- _ Lab and Facilities Management_
- _ Fabricated Equipment_
- _ Process Automation and Instrumentation_

**We believe you bring**
- _ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline_
- _ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement and/or operations roles_
- _ Proven understanding of sourcing, category management, and contract management processes_




- _ Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing operations_
- _ Experience working across geographically dispersed teams_
- _ Background in continuous improvement or change management is preferred_
- _ Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus_

**Great if you have**
- _ Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial procurement_
- _ Strong negotiation skills and a track record of driving savings through sourcing strategies_
- _ The ability to analyze supplier markets and anticipate shifts in negotiation power_
- _ Experience collaborating with centralized procurement hubs, such as Nouryon’s Service Center_
- _ Skills in aligning cross-functional stakeholders across finance, engineering, and operations_

**We believe you are a team member who has**

**Technical Skills**
- _ Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office_
- _ Familiarity with procurement KPIs and TCO modeling_
- _ Understanding of regional supply markets and indirect procurement trends_

**Analytical Skills**
- _ Capable of identifying and assessing cost drivers_
- _ Able to develop and track procurement performance metrics_

**Communication Skills**




- _ Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences_
- _ Effective in building and maintaining supplier and internal stakeholder relationships_
- _ Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams_

**Good to know**
This is a permanent position, onsite in **Argentina, San Lorenzo** reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager. You will work closely with integral category managers, plant stakeholders, and regional teams to deliver measurable value and supply chain optimization.
