Client Development Lead Associate

Reports To: Client Development Manager
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Eligible for yearly bonus, full benefits, and commission incentive tied to signed client contracts.

All City Management Services (ACMS) is seeking a Client Development Lead Associate to support and strengthen our Client Development team while helping expand our School Crossing Guard programs throughout Southern California.
This is a full-time, office-based leadership role reporting daily to our Santa Fe Springs office. The position blends team leadership, mentorship, client development strategy, and direct sales responsibilities.

What You'll Do
Team Leadership & Support
- Work under the direction of the Client Development Manager.
- Support and guide Client Development Associates (CDAs) in client processes, outreach, and strategy.
- Assist with delegating tasks based on region and workload.
- Conduct client meetings with CDA job shadowing to model effective client communication and objection handling.
- Assist with training new staff, resolving potential conflicts, and maintaining departmental standards.
- Assess CDA performance and identify areas for improvement.
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new leads and potential customers within your assigned territory.
- Meet with municipal and school district leaders face-to-face to present services and demonstrate value.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and finalize agreements to meet sales goals.
- Collaborate on pricing development and proposal submissions.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with comprehensive, deadline-driven responses.
- Attend industry conventions and expos (travel required as needed).
Outreach & Marketing
- Research and identify decision-makers who oversee School Crossing Guard programs.
- Make outbound calls to municipalities, school districts, and agencies.
- Maintain and update CRM/database records.
- Generate and distribute marketing letters using ACMS templates.
- Prepare professional mailers with references and business materials.
- Send electronic marketing campaigns to prospective clients.
What We're Looking For
- Intermediate leadership and management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional presence with excellent active listening skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in the Crossing Guard industry and strong knowledge of ACMS policies preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM/database systems.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize efficiently.
- Comfortable working toward performance goals and deadlines.
Work Environment
- Professional office environment (Santa Fe Springs).
- Regional travel required for client meetings and industry events.
- Use of standard office equipment and CRM systems.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily sedentary role.
- Occasional filing and light lifting (up to 15 pounds).
