About the Role
The Marketing Manager role is a unique opportunity to lead projects in a fast-paced startup environment. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop rider strategies that will help acquire, increase engagement, and improve brand perception in our local operations. Also, the Marketing Manager will lead on-the ground events/stunts that will help build rider love in our cities in Argentina.
This role requires a combination of project management skills, creative thinking and problem solving, technical skills (data analysis, experiment design & execution), and an unique ability to hustle in a challenged environment helping to grow one of our most important operations in the region.
What You’ll Do
Insight led Strategy. Build our marketing strategy around customer insights, drawing inspiration and data from varied sources and integrating them creatively
Informing Promotional Spend Decisions. Act as a thought partner concerning decisions on how to best deploy the promotion budget in order to accelerate market penetration
Brand & Reputation. Help develop initiatives to enhance our brand & reputation in our cities to maximize impact, growth, and perception among our existing and potential riders
Develop & Optimize Processes. Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with progressive timelines for completion
Be Resourceful and Take Initiative. Take ownership of Uber's growth in your city and do everything you can to support and enhance the quality of our services
Stakeholder Relationship. Manage and work with different stakeholders in order to set campaigns, budgets, and projects
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Engineering Finance or a demonstrated ability in quantitative fields
3+ years of experience of digital marketing, user analytics, and/or consulting experience in a fast paced environment is expected, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
Demonstrated record of positively owning and leading initiatives and projects at your organization
Experience making data-driven strategic marketing decisions using funnel tracking, A/B testing, and other analytical tools
An eye for design, written communication skills, and ability to craft a brand voice
Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
