The successful candidate will play a central role in all aspects of executing live advisory transactions across all industry sectors and developing strategic dialog with clients. The Analyst's responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:Build and maintain complex financial models to perform analyses under different scenariosPerform full valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, LBO analyses, among othersPrepare and review complex financial analyses, including transaction impact analyses such as earnings accretion/dilution and value creationParticipate in day-to-day deal execution, interacting with senior deal team members, senior client executives, transaction counterparties and other advisorsManage due diligence processes, including preparing virtual data rooms, tracking and coordinating the information flow, and reviewing and analyzing company informationPrepare pitches, descriptive memorandums, management presentations, Board presentations and other materialsDesign and analyze transactions' rationale, structures, financial impacts, etc. Monitor and evaluate current events related to clients, industries or transactions
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:Bachelors' Degree from and fluency in English - experience in M&A; is highly preferredSolid analytical skills, able to quickly and intuitively analyze and correctly interprets dataStrong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, as well as basic understanding of legal and tax aspects related to M&A; transactionsSolid financial modeling/valuation, including DCF, LBO, trading comparables, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution, value creation analysis, three-statement models and combined pro forma modelsIntellectual curiosity, desire to learn, detail oriented, proactive and highly organizedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with different teams and under time constraintsAbility to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature mannerExceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validityOutstanding ethics, integrity and judgmentExcellent technology skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to quickly learn new software applicationsJ.P.
