Job Purpose Creating internal and external claims reports and analyzing variances. Evaluating, adjusting and discussing Property and Financial Institution product claims with Independent Adjuster and Customers. Serving as backup support for Claims & Operations Manager, subject matter expert for Property products and Team Leader for Claims Department. Primary Job Accountabilities / Responsibilities Create Claims Reports for Property and Financial Institution clients on a weekly/monthly basis. Prepare monthly manual reserves reports required by the Finance/Accounting Department. Prepare internal reconciliation reports required for processes and paid claims. Subject matter expert of Property business and team mentor. Evaluate,

analyze and adjust Property and Financial Institution product claims. Evaluate the field adjuster’s report with the estimate of damages and recommendations to determine final decision. Follow up and discuss cases with field adjusters, as necessary. Assist in customer solutions and analytics, particularly resolving escalations related to filed adjustment servicing issues or complicated data requests. Implementing internal controls/processes to avoid servicing issues going forward. Assist Claims Examiner with review or customer service of complicated Property and Financial Institution product claims. Participate in the implementation of new products, accounts, systems’ changes and/or updates. Prepare reports for internal and external data requests involving Property and Financial Institution claims (RAS, OCS, etc.) Work with Project Management/Business Intelligence Unit in the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) metrics and data/report automation. Exercise draft and settlement authority up to $25,000. Assist management in legal cases and Insurance Commissioner Complaints. Provide support to Claims & Operations Manager with creation and review of claim department reports and processes. Monitor claims and refer questionable claims to Manager for investigation and settlement. Assist Claims & Operations Manager as necessary Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree 2-3 years of related experience in the function or similar activity outside the organization (claims adjustment, reporting and analysis). Independent Adjuster License (required) Excellent in Excel macro skills Computer oriented and proficient in Microsoft Word and Power point Excellent customer service skills Self-starter and dynamic Detail oriented Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills Results oriented Ability to work under minimal supervision and comply with deadlines Fully Bilingual (Spanish & English) Perform other duties as assigned
