They offer the firm significant value in being able to undertake change activity required for stability and resiliency without the need for iterative change approval and follow an abbreviated workflow. In the Standard Change Model Risk is avoided by strict enforcement of key change tollgates which must always be enforced.Authorized Standard change Templates are the approved system of record for Standard Change eligibility. The role requires excellent judgment when managing the Template onboarding assessment process. This must always include detailed qualitative checks for Standard Change eligibility and accurate decision-making. The Standard Change Manager is the control tollgate for protecting the firm from the impact of bad change. They must have proven experience in being able to understand and assess infrastructure technology and be able to focus in on what represents value to the firm versus unacceptable risk as it relates to Standard Change.Once a Standard Change Template is approved continuous review becomes critical - control continuity is a key part of the role, particularly, but not limited to, when Standard Change records are unsuccessful or cause an impact to firm. The Standard Change Manager must show excellent critical thought and responsiveness when managing control escalations and have the confidence to balance the ongoing risk of keeping a Standard Change Importante empresa against the operational impact to infrastructure operations if it is deactivated. The Standard Change Manager continuously reviews all Standard Change Templates keeping a firm eye on key metrics, escalating where necessary to the Standard Change Process Owner whilst seeking, and delivering, proactive ways to improve the function. They are at home with targeted reporting and presentations that communicate a clear narrative on the health of the overall function.You'll be able to put your technology acumen to work in this role which requires a high level of ownership for the outcome of your control decisions. Advanced knowledge of Service Now, PowerPoint and Excel are required; as are strong written, documentary and spoken communication skills. Strong understanding of risk and controls environment as well as Software Delivery Lifecycle, Infrastructure functions and Change and Release processes are required.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, includingA proven track record of working in a control's environment; the ability to take key control decisions in a in an impartial way and being able to implement controls continuously and effectivelyBe a Service Now expert with proven experience in supporting transformational and migration activities for this critical firm wide toolset implementation, including QA and UAT testing of functionality within the tool.Have at least 2 years' experience working on the Service Now platform in Standard Change Management, with experience in workflows; business rules; use of catalogs and approval models; reporting and dashboardsPowerPoint and Excel capabilities are required.Ability to create firmwide communications and job aids; recommend and measure Standard Change related KPI's; and participate in data mapping to support change reporting analytics.Understanding of the criticality of data and configuration management to reduce the risk of technology changeUnderstand and articulate in practical usage terms the relationship between Change, Incident and Problem as well as Request, in order to be able to recommend workflows and engagements across the processes - particularly Standard Change.Release, SDLC, Infrastructure and Change Management experience, including the ability to evaluate Standard Change Proposals and assess and recommend improvements in quality and control engagementEvaluate success of Standard change with an eye towards continual improvementExcellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties;Ability to capture Standard Change business requirements and translate them into effective, sustainable ServiceNow solutionsProven ability to motivate others and lead change;The ability to work under pressure within demanding timeframes;A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change;a strong interest in JPMorgan business and business development;a good understanding of information technology outside of the core requirements of the role.When you work at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you're not just working at a global financial institution.
