- Responsible for both Sales and Technology. +70% of South LATAM year revenues.
- Reporting to : Cluster Head South LATAM.
- Reporting Functions: Country Sales Directors (ARG & CHI); Technology Team (including InHouse); Account Manager Sales; Commercial Excellence; Logistics to customers. (Team >50 FTEs)
- Partners w/ : HOT Flex Pack & TO, Brazil & South LATAM. Shortly w/ Marketing (BOC) Brazil & South LATAM Head.
- Peer functions – South LATAM : SCM Head, Finance Head, HR Head, Purchasing Head.
- Is part of South LATAM Directors Meeting.
Role Purpose Statement:
Define and implement regional sales strategies and objectives.
The position will be managing the Sales and Technology teams and AMS resources to achieve the defined sales and profit targets and develop new business opportunities and long-term relationships with customers in coordination with OFC team partner(s) according to BU strategy.
- Development of a competitive, integrated regional sales strategy for expanding the business in the area of responsibility in line with overall BU strategy
- Achievement of regional sales, gross margins and profit targets for the area of responsibility through dedicated OFC teams and the introduction of best practices to maximize sales revenues and customer satisfaction
- Coordination and teamwork with BU Technology in the definition and development of customer product and services strategies to provide best in class customer services and solutions.
- Ensure a continuous market research and analysis, documentation of consumer changes, sales effectiveness etc, to evaluate market trends and program development of new products and services in cooperation with Technology and Marketing
- Cooperation and agreement with Technology, Marketing, agents and SCM within the yearly planning process for products, volumes and prices within the region
- Contract/price revision negotiations with customers in line with defined margins and guidelines to maximize revenues and achieve sales and profits targets
- Where appropriate, manage International/Regional Key accounts strategic plans and relationships with the aim of maintaining high sales productivity, pricing policy and service support structure
- Establish and monitor budgets in the area of responsibility in accordance with company guidelines
- Resolve with local sales and technology managers any local specific sales issues
- Development of pricing strategies and policies as well as market research and analysis
