Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in the role Surface Transportation Billing Specialist. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for initiating, managing, and executing the carrier payment and customer billing process for our Surface Transportation division. Essential Skills
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills

-Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize effectively
Essential Responsibilities:
-Process and approve all carrier invoices to send to payables team
-Audit carrier invoices and track down necessary documents
-Reconcile carrier and customer invoices
-Process and send customer invoice
-Respond to daily reconciliation e-mail regarding system variances
-Managing the weekly unbilled report and provide feedback
-Recommend feedback on how to improve procedures and time lags of carrier invoice processing and customer billing
Education & Experience
-Minimum of high school diploma required
-1- 3 years of accounting experience including billing is preferred
-Previous experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Language Requirements
The Billing Specialist role requires effective communication with international customers. Candidates are required to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.
