Ingeniero de Networking Semi Senior – Soporte
Objetivo del Puesto
Ingeniero de Networking Semi Senior,
para integrarse al equipo de soporte y servicios profesionales, brindando atención técnica sobre soluciones de networking y seguridad en clientes corporativos.
Será responsable de la resolución de incidentes de complejidad media, análisis de problemas, operación de infraestructura crítica, escalamiento a fabricantes cuando corresponda y colaboración en implementaciones y proyectos de mejora continua.
El rol requiere una resistente orientación al cliente, capacidad de troubleshooting y trabajo en entornos multi-tecnología.
Principales Responsabilidades
Atender incidentes y requerimientos relacionados con soluciones de networking y seguridad.
Realizar troubleshooting de nivel 2 sobre infraestructura LAN, WAN, Wireless y Security.
Gestionar tickets de soporte asegurando el cumplimiento de SLA.
Ejecutar análisis de causa raíz (RCA) en incidentes complejos.
Realizar configuraciones, cambios y tareas de mantenimiento programadas.
Participar en actividades de implementación y migración tecnológica.
Gestionar escalaciones con TAC de fabricantes (Cisco y otros).
Generar documentación técnica, informes operativos y procedimientos.
Participar en guardias y esquemas de soporte cuando sea requerido.
Colaborar con áreas de ingeniería, proyectos y operaciones.
Mantener actualizados inventarios, diagramas y documentación de clientes.

Routing y Switching Cisco.
Protocolos de ruteo: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP (deseable).

Networking inalámbrico Cisco (WLC y Access Points).
Cisco Meraki (deseable).

Firewalls Cisco ASA y Firepower.

Experiencia Requerida
Entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia en posiciones de soporte de networking.
Experiencia comprobable en atención de incidentes y troubleshooting.
Experiencia operando infraestructura Cisco en ambientes corporativos.
Experiencia trabajando con SLA y procesos ITIL.
Experiencia en interacción con clientes corporativos y fabricantes.

The Role

Required Technical and Professional Experience
+ 5+ years of real software engineering experience
+ Comfortable working on complex, production systems
+ Strong coding + architecture awareness
+ Can mentor juniors and contribute to technical decisions
+ Capable of supporting either Software Engineering or Data‐oriented assignments
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
+ Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
+ Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
