We are seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to improve infrastructure reliability, elevate developer experience and ensure operational excellence across our organization.
This role will lead critical platform initiatives from inception through adoption, building the foundation that enables engineering teams to deliver with confidence.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure across multiple regionsExecute complex infrastructure upgrades with minimal operational disruptionManage and optimize developer tooling platforms including Artifactory SonarQube and GitHub EnterpriseImplement infrastructure as code using Terraform and maintain standardized templatesConduct disaster recovery planning testing and runbook documentationCreate and maintain comprehensive production readiness documentationDevelop scorecards runbooks and operational procedures for supported platformsEstablish monitoring alerting and observability infrastructureDrive incident response processes and post-incident reviewsEnsure platform reliability through proactive system health monitoringBuild automation tooling that improves developer workflows and productivityCreate integration examples and reusable templates that enable organizational adoptionDevelop repository synchronization and automation solutionsPartner with development teams to understand pain points and deliver practical solutionsMonitor and analyze infrastructure costs across cloud platformsDevelop and implement retention policies and resource optimization strategiesIdentify and execute cost reduction initiatives while maintaining performanceCreate tooling for proactive capacity planning and cost analysisMaintain security posture through compliance requirements and security tooling updatesManage authentication access controls and WAF policiesEnsure platforms meet enterprise security and governance standardsRequirements3+ years experience in DevOps Platform Engineering or Site Reliability EngineeringExpertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration (EKS preferred)Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools, particularly TerraformSkills in managing CI/CD platforms and developer tooling (Artifactory, SonarQube, GitHub Enterprise)Demonstrated ability to execute complex infrastructure upgrades and migrationsCompetency in documentation with experience creating runbooks, Production Readiness Reviews and operational proceduresSkills in observability platforms and monitoring systemsUnderstanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and implementationKnowledge of AWS services and multi-region deploymentsBackground in establishing governance structures and organizational adoption patternsFamiliarity with security scanning and compliance toolingSkills in log aggregation and observability platforms (Cribl, Splunk or similar)Track record of building automation solutions that scale organizational capabilitiesNice to haveProficiency in Python scriptingFamiliarity with New Relic and PagerDutyWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with integral teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
