The Role
We are seeking an Inventory Accountant to own inventory accounting, landed cost, and COGS at a US consumer goods company, working remotely from Argentina.
You will own a defined set of close tasks, from journal entries and reconciliations to supporting schedules, with a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager reviewing your work.
The scope grows as quickly as your accuracy does.
What You'll Own
Inventory roll-forward.
Maintain the inventory roll-forward across warehouses, 3PLs, and in-transit stock.
Landed cost.
Capitalize freight, duties, and tariffs into landed cost accurately.
Counts.
Support cycle counts and physical counts, and resolve book-to-physical differences.
Reserves.
Calculate excess, obsolete, and shrink reserves with support an auditor accepts.
Close tasks.
Complete your close checklist on schedule, and document each task so a reviewer can follow it without asking.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of accounting experience




Hands-on experience with month-end close tasks, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Experience with inventory accounting, including landed cost and reserves
US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities
Experience with NetSuite, Cin7, Fishbowl, or Microsoft Dynamics
Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification
Preferred
Experience with 3PL or WMS data and multi-location inventory
Experience using AI tools in accounting workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement.
Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
