# Job Summary:
In this role, the PD&P; designer will be responsible for developing and coordinating multidisciplinary 3D plant models, equipment arrangements / layouts in accordance with project requirements and instructions provided by the Engineering Group Supervisor (EGS). The position requires a strong background in plant layout design, including equipment arrangement and layout development, with demonstrated proficiency in 3D plant modeling software, preferably Smart 3D (S3D).
The designer will collaborate closely with other designers and engineers to ensure design integrity, interdisciplinary coordination, constructability, maintainability, and operability, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and established design criteria.
The position requires the ability to independently execute assigned design activities with minimal supervision, exercise sound technical judgment within the scope of the discipline and provide technical support to other designers as required. The level of responsibility, complexity of assignments, and degree of autonomy will be consistent with the designer's grade, experience, and demonstrated capabilities.
