The Role
We are seeking a Property Accounting Manager to own property-level accounting across a real estate portfolio at a US real estate owner and operator, working remotely from Argentina.
You will lead the area's people and its day-to-day results, reporting to the Controller or VP of Finance, while staying hands-on whenever the close or an audit needs it.
What You'll Own
Property close.
Close property ledgers monthly, including rent, recoveries, and operating expenses.
CAM reconciliations.
Prepare annual CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations for tenants.
Tenant receivables.
Manage tenant receivables, deposits, and straight-line rent.
Owner and lender reporting.
Prepare owner, investor, and lender reporting packages.
Portfolio reporting.




Consolidate property results into portfolio and fund reporting.
The team.
Lead, review, and develop a team of accountants, setting clear standards for quality and timeliness.
Controls.
Design and maintain the controls and approval workflows for your area, and fix gaps before an auditor finds them.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of accounting experience
Experience leading accountants and owning the review of their work
Experience with property accounting, including rent rolls and CAM reconciliations
US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities
Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or RealPage
Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification
Preferred
Experience with commercial or multifamily portfolios
Experience using AI tools in accounting workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement.
Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
