The Role

We are seeking a Senior Crypto Accountant to own digital asset accounting and on-chain reconciliations at a US digital asset company, working remotely from Argentina.

You will own your workstream end to end with light review, working directly with the Controller or Accounting Manager. Where the process relies on manual workarounds, you will be expected to fix it rather than repeat it.

What You'll Own

- On-chain reconciliations. Reconcile wallets, exchanges, and custodians to the GL.
- Fair value. Apply ASU 2023-08 fair value measurement to crypto assets.
- Transaction data. Classify on-chain transactions.
- Staking and rewards.



Account for staking, rewards, and token grants.
- Audit support. Prepare the PBC schedules for your areas and answer auditor questions directly.

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Experience owning a workstream through the close without day-to-day supervision
- Experience with digital asset accounting
- US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities
- Experience with Bitwave, Cryptio, Ledgible, or NetSuite
- Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification

Preferred

- Experience with Bitwave, Cryptio, or Ledgible
- Experience using AI tools in accounting workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
