Senior C++ Developer | .NET Modernization

We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a major project for a well-known technology company, focused on modernizing legacy applications and evolving them into .NET services. This opportunity is aimed at professionals with C++ experience and .NET knowledge, as well as C++ developers with a C# foundation who want to deepen their experience in system modernization.

Responsibilities

- Analyze legacy C++ applications and define strategies to migrate functionality to .NET services.
- Design, develop and optimize C# services, prioritizing performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with architects, QA and business analysts to meet functional, performance and compliance requirements.
- Develop unit, integration and performance tests.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot technical and performance issues, and document solutions to support knowledge transfer.

Must have

- Solid experience in C++ and hands-on knowledge of .NET (C#, .NET Core or .NET 5+).




- Knowledge of software architecture, monoliths and microservices.
- Experience with CI/CD, scripting and build tools.
- Knowledge of relational databases and debugging and optimization tools.
- Analytical skills, effective communication and adaptability to agile environments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

- Experience migrating applications from C++ to .NET or working on modernization projects.
- Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, AKS and Azure Monitor.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Entity Framework Core, Angular and full stack experience.
- Experience operating microservices in production.
