Position Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience working on Data Engineering projects to bridge business requirements and technical implementation. This role will focus on data modeling, source system analysis, business process understanding, and ensuring that application functionality aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and document business requirements
Research and assess new data sources for integration into the platform
Map source systems and datasets to existing business and data models
Support the design and refinement of data models and business rules




Work closely with technical teams to clarify business requirements
Partner with stakeholders to validate application features and functionality
Perform gap analysis between current and target business processes
Create documentation, workflows, and data mapping specifications

Support user acceptance testing and business validation activities

Workplace: Remote based role in LATAM, preferably in Argentina

Must Have Skills:

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
Experience analyzing and documenting data sources
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience translating business needs into functional requirements
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams

Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in data modernization initiatives

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Professional Skills:

Excellent English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong team and individual player
Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results
Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention

Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues
