Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Security Clearance Alarm Dispatch in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate responses to alarms, access control activity, and other security-related incidents while maintaining clear communication with personnel and emergency responders. You will monitor systems, document activity, and provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. Pay Rate: $28.58 / Hour

- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
- Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee and visitor access badges.

- Alarm Panel Experience (B202):

- Applicants should have experience operating alarm panels, including knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures. Familiarity with various alarm systems is preferred.

- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

- Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, entering data, and utilizing communication tools effectively.

- Customer Service Experience (B219): A background in customer service is required. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and visitors.
- CPR Certification (B205): Current CPR certification is required for positions that involve emergency response or first aid responsibilities.

What You'll Do

- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific procedures for an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
- Monitor incoming communications, dispatch security-related personnel and/or appropriate responders to routine incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident records, documenting calls, assignments, response status, and relevant details in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
