Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop full-stack UI and API solutions and deliver features for both internal and external clients and collaborate with a team that continuously improves engineering practices and evaluates new technologies and approaches to support application development. Technologies include Angular, Java/Spring Boot, and Azure.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of stories and drive them to completion through all phases of the entire SDLC. This includes external-facing and internal applications in the Offsite Media domain, as well as process improvement activities such as:

- Own stories end-to-end and deliver through all phases of the SDLC for internal and external applications
- Design and build full-stack solutions, including UI development (Angular) and API development (Java/Spring Boot) on Azure
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) and contribute to CI/CD-quality practices
- Collaborate with the team through estimation, retrospectives, and peer reviews to continuously improve delivery
- Maintain and enhance existing applications; troubleshoot issues and drive improvements




- Provide support and guidance to other engineers and contribute new perspectives to technical and process decisions

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree typically in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics or another technically strong program
- Understanding of Agile Principles (Scrum)
- 2+ years of proven professional full-stack development experience
- Experience developing UI applications with Angular
- Experience developing APIs with Java/Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and OpenAPI specifications
- Proficient with automated testing (unit and integration), including tools such as Jest, Cypress, and JUnit
- Experience building event-driven and asynchronous systems (e.g., messaging patterns using Azure Service Bus or similar technologies)
- Proficient with VCS (Git, SVN)
- Experience with dependency management
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging enterprise applications
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Harness for CI/CD
- Familiarity with Datadog or similar observability / monitoring platform
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
