We are looking for a
Senior/Lead Dev Ops Engineer
to deploy and operationalize a new Kubernetes-based cloud environment on AWS for a short-term project.MUST HAVE'S
5+ years of Dev Ops, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering experience.4+ years supporting Kubernetes in production environments. Demonstrated experience deploying and operating AWS-hosted applications. Experience leading technical implementation efforts with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Kubernetes, EKS, and Helm. Argo CD and Service Mesh technologies. Ingress controllers, container networking, storage and persistence, cluster operations and upgrades.AWS services, including VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, RDS, Cloud Watch, S3, Secrets Manager, and Systems Manager Parameter Store. Git Lab, Git Lab CI/CD, Git Ops workflows, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform. Bash, Python, or Go. Upper-intermediate English level.NICE TO HAVE'S
CNCF ecosystem technologies: Cilium, Hubble, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Open Telemetry, Karpenter, Crossplane, Kyverno, Tetragon, ExternalDNS, cert-manager. Backstage, Internal Developer Platforms, Self-Service Infrastructure, Golden Path Engineering, Environment Automation. Robin Cloud Native Platform (Rakuten Symphony Robin). Application migration from on-premises to cloud-hosted Kubernetes. Healthcare, medical device, HIPAA, or regulated environments. Integration of acquired company technology stacks into enterprise cloud platforms.



Documenting operational procedures and performing technical knowledge transfer. What You Will Do
Lead deployment of a new cloud environment within AWS or other Cloud provider. Ensure deployment follows security, reliability, and operational best practices. Partner with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams throughout the implementation. Deploy and manage workloads running on Kubernetes platforms. Troubleshoot cluster, networking, ingress, storage, and workload issues. Support application modernization and containerization efforts where needed. Implement platform standards and operational guardrails. Design and enhance Git Lab CI/CD pipelines. Implement deployment automation and release workflows. Establish Git Ops deployment patterns using tools such as Argo CD. Improve traceability, repeatability, and deployment reliability. Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and related tooling. Reduce manual deployment activities through automation. Configure platform monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards. Support production readiness reviews and operational runbooks. Establish reliability practices and incident response procedures. Identify bottlenecks and performance issues across cloud and Kubernetes environments. Evaluate existing deployment practices and operational processes. Document platform architecture, deployment procedures, and operational support requirements. Produce runbooks and knowledge-transfer documentation for support teams. Perks and Benefits
