We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support accounting and financial processes across multiple client accounts. A significant portion of the client portfolio is within the construction industry , making construction accounting experience a strong advantage.

About the Role

The Staff Accountant will manage accounting responsibilities for approximately 6–10 clients simultaneously , taking ownership of recurring accounting workflows, deadlines, and client deliverables.

This position is idóneo for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Support payroll processing as needed.
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.




- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
- Manage multiple client priorities, workflows, and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of Staff Accountant or similar accounting experience.
- Experience managing accounting responsibilities for multiple clients or companies simultaneously .
- 3+ years of QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience; QBO certification is a plus.
- Experience with Excel and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong professional communication skills and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities.
- Audit experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of accounting experience within the construction industry is a strong plus.
