We are a well-established accounting and tax firm in South Florida seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accouting Assistant with strong accounting fundamentals and a desire to grow professionally.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with U.S. business clients, collaborate with experienced accounting professionals, and develop your knowledge of U.S. tax processes through hands-on training and guidance.What You'll DoMaintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple U.S.-based clients.Record and categorize transactions using QuickBooks Online.Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.Review transactions and identify discrepancies or missing information.Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end activities.Prepare basic financial reports,



including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.Support the team with administrative tasks related to accounting operations.Assist with organizing tax documents and basic tax-related data entry under the guidance of the firm's team.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting.Based in Peru.Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal (everyday communication with the team and clients will be in English)At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.Hands‐on experience with QuickBooks Online is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.Strong understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.Willingness to learn U.S. tax processes and assist with administrative and tax-related tasks as needed.Nice to have: Experience with U.S. clients or a CPA firm, familiarity with U.S. tax forms such as W-2s and ****s, or QuickBooks Online certification.What We OfferUSD $**** - $**** Monthly compensation depending on experiencePaid time off (PTO)Performance-based bonusesLong-term professional growth opportunities.Exposure to multiple U.S. businesses and industries.Hands-on learning opportunities in U.S. accounting and tax practices.
