Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Generative AI (GenAI) to lead strategic AI initiatives within an enterprise AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) for a major U.
S.-based organization. The ideal candidate combines strong project and program management capabilities with hands-on experience managing the delivery of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents. This is not a hands-on engineering position. However, candidates must have sufficient technical understanding to effectively collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders, driving initiatives from ideation and proof of concept through production deployment and enterprise adoption.

Key Responsibilities




• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage initiatives involving LLM-based applications, RAG architectures, AI agents, and AI/ML platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including AI/ML engineers, data scientists, software developers, architects, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, resource allocations, budgets, risk registers, and executive status reports.
• Drive projects from discovery and proof of concept (PoC) through MVP, production deployment, and ongoing adoption.
• Identify and proactively manage technical dependencies, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective execution using Jira and other project management tools.
• Partner with technical and business teams to define success criteria, measurable outcomes, and business value for AI initiatives.
• Support AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices throughout project delivery.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, or Program Management.
• Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end delivery of Generative AI or advanced AI/ML solutions, preferably in enterprise environments.




• Strong working understanding of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and GenAI application development lifecycles.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing complex technology initiatives.
• Experience taking AI/ML or GenAI solutions beyond experimentation or PoC into production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, project planning, risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency with Jira and project tracking/reporting tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate confidently with U.
S.-based technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Availability to collaborate during U.
S. business hours. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within an enterprise AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE).
• Familiarity with cloud AI ecosystems such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI.
• Understanding of GenAI evaluation, model performance, hallucination mitigation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience managing enterprise RAG implementations, conversational AI, or agentic AI solutions.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certifications.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation or highly regulated industries. What We're Looking For We are particularly interested in Project Managers who have directly led teams delivering GenAI solutions, understand the technical and organizational challenges involved, and can effectively bridge the gap between AI engineering teams and business leadership. Experience using ChatGPT, Copilot, or other AI productivity tools alone does not meet the technical project delivery requirements for this position..
