Position Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineering to join our dynamic team.
The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, with expertise in various areas of natural language processing and computer vision.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the fine-tuning of open-source Large Language Models
Design and implement advanced text processing and computer vision algorithms
Develop and optimize inference engines for efficient model deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into our products
Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies
Implement and maintain best practices for data processing and model development
Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies throughout the development process
Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources
Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights




Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
Communicate findings and insights through data visualizations and reports
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies
Workplace: This is a remote position for candidates based in Colombia or Argentina only
Must Have Skills:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
Extensive experience in machine learning, with a focus on natural language processing and computer vision
Proven track record of leading ML engineering teams and projects
Strong proficiency in Python and related ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Experience with fine-tuning and deploying large language models
Expertise in developing and optimizing inference engines
Solid understanding of data processing techniques and best practices
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of deep learning techniques and frameworks
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Professional Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
Excellent English communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Strong organizational and time management skills
Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
