About the role

We are looking for a Structural Engineer & Drafter to support US-based projects, combining structural engineering knowledge with strong technical drafting and modeling skills.

The adecuado candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop structural drawings, plans, sections, and construction details for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Create and update structural models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
- Perform structural analysis, calculations, and engineering design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
- Prepare construction documentation in accordance with US building codes and engineering standards.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review technical drawings, identify design conflicts, and implement revisions.
- Support senior engineers throughout design development, permitting, and construction documentation.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all engineering deliverables.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, drafting and structural modeling.




- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit Structure.
- Experience preparing structural construction documents and detailed drawings.
- Solid understanding of structural systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with US building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC) is highly preferred.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RISA-3D, or similar is a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

- Previous experience working with US-based architecture or engineering firms.
- Experience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary Revit models.
- Knowledge of structural design for residential and commercial buildings in the US.
- Familiarity with project documentation, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews.
- Experience working directly with US project managers and engineering teams.
