Join a four-person Workplace Technology team as the senior engineering resource behind the firm’s collaboration and endpoint platforms. This is a level 3 role : you will own the administration of the platforms the business runs on, resolve the escalations that Tech Support cannot close, and lead your own automation and improvement projects. You will work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, so clear communication matters as much as technical depth. Business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central Time, with availability for exceptional out-of-hours emergency support.

Responsibilities

- Act as subject matter expert and administrator for Microsoft 365 configuration and policies, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Administer the firm’s SaaS collaboration platforms: Box, Zoom and Slack.
- Manage corporate device enrollment and endpoint policy through Microsoft Intune (Windows, iOS, macOS, Windows 365) and Apple MDM.
- Own identity and access management, including SSO and identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect, and RBAC across Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Okta.
- Handle compliance and data retention through Microsoft Purview: DLP, eDiscovery, Audit and Content Search.
- Package and patch applications across Windows, iOS and macOS via MDM.
- Resolve level 3 escalations from the Service Desk, driving each issue to root cause and to a satisfactory close through the ticketing system.
- Identify and own automation opportunities that streamline operations, improve reporting and reduce manual overhead.
- Build documentation, runbooks and support strategies for the Service Desk team.
- Test and validate new hardware and software, produce metrics and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Manage SaaS and hardware inventory, asset management and device lifecycle.
- Own and drive cross-functional projects with minimal oversight.
- Translate technical detail,



errors and business logic into clear written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Advanced English with spoken fluency, for daily interaction with users, executives and international teams.
- 10+ years of professional technology experience, including 5+ years focused on Microsoft 365 engineering.
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform : Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Security & Compliance Center and licensing.
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID and the Microsoft Identity Platform.
- Hands-on administration of SaaS collaboration platforms (Zoom, Slack) at admin console level.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune , leveraging Autopilot or MDM management.
- Ability to independently develop PowerShell scripts to manage on-premises and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience with SAML / OIDC for authentication.
- An independent, methodical troubleshooter who can assess platform changes, constructively challenge assumptions and recommend improvements.

- Box administration (admin console, permissions, external sharing policies, retention).
- Apple MDM platforms such as Jamf or Kandji , and management of iOS, macOS and tvOS devices.
- Microsoft Purview: DLP, eDiscovery, Audit and Content Search.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- Experience in financial services (investment firms, funds, banks).
- Azure administration, GitHub-based workflows and API automation.
- A/V administration and remote management of Zoom Rooms.
- Administration of Adobe Creative Suite and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with network terminology (LAN/WAN/IP/DNS/DHCP) and troubleshooting.
