Join a four-person Workplace Technology team as the senior engineering resource behind the firm's collaboration and endpoint platforms. This is a level 3 role: you will own the administration of the platforms the business runs on, resolve the escalations that Tech Support cannot close, and lead your own automation and improvement projects. You will work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, so clear communication matters as much as technical depth.

Business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central Time, with availability for exceptional out-of-hours emergency support.

Responsibilities

- Act as subject matter expert and administrator for Microsoft 365 configuration and policies, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Administer the firm's SaaS collaboration platforms: Box, Zoom and Slack.
- Manage corporate device enrollment and endpoint policy through Microsoft Intune (Windows, iOS, macOS, Windows 365) and Apple MDM.
- Own identity and access management, including SSO and identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect,



and RBAC across Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Okta.
- Handle compliance and data retention through Microsoft Purview: DLP, eDiscovery, Audit and Content Search.
- Package and patch applications across Windows, iOS and macOS via MDM.
- Resolve level 3 escalations from the Service Desk, driving each issue to root cause and to a satisfactory close through the ticketing system.
- Identify and own automation opportunities that streamline operations, improve reporting and reduce manual overhead.
- Build documentation, runbooks and support strategies for the Service Desk team.
- Test and validate new hardware and software, produce metrics and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Manage SaaS and hardware inventory, asset management and device lifecycle.
- Own and drive cross-functional projects with minimal oversight.
- Translate technical detail, errors and business logic into clear written and verbal communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
