II (Home-Based) About NTU International A/S NTU International A/S is an international consulting company providing project management and technical advisory services worldwide. NTU works with European Union institutions, international financial institutions, development agencies, government institutions and private-sector stakeholders across sustainable development, circular economy, green transition, environmental governance, sustainable infrastructure, private-sector development and international cooperation. NTU International is currently identifying qualified experts for the EU-funded project “Support to Enhancing Circular Economy in the Motagua River Basin Action” in Guatemala. The overall objective of this engagement is to contribute to achieving the objectives and expected results of Action ACT-63102 – “Enhancing Circular Economy in the Motagua River Basin”, implemented as a General Gateway initiative in Guatemala. In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Expert in Circular Economy to provide specialised technical assistance in circular economy development, green transition policies, sustainable value chains, environmental sustainability and private-sector engagement. Qualifications and Skills Required
• Degree (completed university studies of at least 3 years) in engineering in the field related to the circular economy value chains, environmental studies,



or similar studies or bachelor's degree in the same fields plus 5 years of proven professional experience in the same sectors, in addition to the minimum general and specific experience required. General Professional Experience
• Minimum 6 years in the management of cooperation programs and projects providing technical assistance in sectors related to the Green Transition (water and sanitation, waste, energy, biodiversity, among others) and private sector development policy and reform, including professional/commercial/advisor bodies including business organizations. Specific Professional Experience
• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in the Green Transition, with experience in sectors related to the circular economy (water and sanitation, waste, energy, biodiversity, among others) preferably in private sector development policy and reform, professional/ commercial/ advisor bodies including business organizations, investment promotion (domestic and European), employment and TVET, green and blue economy or other issues based on the logic of intervention of the Programme.
• Experience in a European country in the sectors above will be considered an advantage.
• Experience in Guatemala in the sectors above will be considered an advantage. Language Requirements
• Spanish: C2 proficiency – mandatory.
• English: Minimum C1 proficiency – mandatory. Additional information
• This technical assistance will be developed in cooperation with the various competent ministries, state institutions or local authorities under demand approach and validated by the EUD.
