Our Quality Assurance team works closely with producers, clients, and technical directors across offices to ensure the delivery of multiple projects. They test across various browsers and devices, and document and communicate the user experience to ensure a seamless end result.
Here's what you should know if you want to be a QA Engineer at R/GA:
On any given day you might
- Test sites and applications for functional, cross-browser, performance and usability defects
- Communicate and document user experience interactions
- Track defects using relevant tools, provide defect statistics and reports
- Provide time estimates to Production teams and assist in project scheduling
- Communicate with developers and other QA's using video conferencing, instant messaging, and other collaboration tools
The ideal person
- Has good command of all phases of the overall testing process: planning, execution, status reporting
- Has proven technology experience in development or QA of web-based systems and sites
- Has worked in an Agile development environment
- Knows how to use multiple tracking tools, such as Jira, Bugzilla, and Trac, and testing tools like Selenium, Charles and SortSite
- Has a strong technical background with basic scripting and programming skills
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS both manual testing and exploratory testing
- Has previous experience with latest mobile and web technologies
- Has experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical partners
- Is interested in UI/UX, Mobile and Visual Design
You Bring
- 4 years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced English skills
