We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, transactional matching, and assist with general accounting data entry and month close tasks.
The candidate will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Financial Controller, as well as interact with operations and various other departments across the company.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:AP invoice entry, including matching purchase order pricing and item receipt quantities to vendor bills and coding expenses to the correct GLAP vendor record setup and maintenanceAP payment processing including checks, ACH, wires, credit card paymentsAP credit card management,



including maintaining receipt records and coding expenses to the correct GLAR customer invoicingAR customer inquiry assistanceMatching order transaction to payment dataMonth close assistance, including running reports and maintaining various schedulesMUST HAVES:Good command of English both oral and writtenAccounting degree completed or currently in progressGreat attention to detailProven experience with data entryProven experience with accounts payable and receivableGeneral understanding of GL accounting related to AP & ARExperience with transaction matchingExcellent Excel skillsNICE TO HAVES:Experience with Netsuite ERP systemExperience working in a team (across multiple departments outside of accounting preferred)Versátil working hours, just get your stuff done and generate resultsAll the tools and resources you need to be successful in this role
