The Embassy of India, Buenos Aires invites applications from suitable candidates for engagement as a Local Resource Person (Indian Dance and Music) to conduct Indian dance and music classes at the Embassy premises and assist in promoting Indian cultural heritage in Argentina.Details of EngagementPosition: Local Resource Person – Indian Dance and MusicLocation: Embassy of India, Buenos AiresNature of Work: Conducting Indian dance and music classes for local Argentine students, Embassy officials and members of the Indian community.Minimum Classes: 3 classes per weekMinimum Engagement: 20 hours per monthRemuneration: US$ 30 per hourMaximum Monthly Remuneration: Up to US$ 600 per monthPayment will be made strictly on the basis of the presente number of hours/classes conducted during the month.Eligibility Criteria :-Applicants should preferably:Possess recognized qualifications or certification in any form of Indian dance ; classical, folk or contemporary and/or Indian music.Have prior experience in teaching Indian dance and/or music.Have proficiency in English and Spanish.Have good communication, interpersonal and teaching skills.Demonstrate a sound understanding of Indian cultural traditions and an interest in promoting Indian art and culture in Argentina.Duties and Responsibilities:-The selected candidate will be required to:



Conduct regular Indian dance and/or music classes at the Embassy premises for participants of different age groups and skill levels. Prepare and organize suitable training modules and practical sessions in Indian dance and music. Promote awareness and appreciation of Indian classical and folk dance forms, music traditions and associated cultural practices. Assist the Embassy in organizing cultural programmes, performances, workshops and other events, including celebrations of India's National Days and the International Day of Yoga, wherever relevant. Prepare students for cultural performances and presentations organized or supported by the Embassy. Maintain regular attendance and submit details of classes conducted and activities undertaken, as required by the Embassy.Application ProcedureInterested candidates may submit the following documents: Curriculum Vitae (CV), highlighting relevant qualifications and experience.
