Our client is looking for a Medical Biller / Business Office Manager (PointClickCare) to oversee billing operations across multiple assisted living facilities. In this remote role, you will manage Medicaid claims end-to-end, resolve rejected or stalled submissions, and recover outstanding account balances. You will also collaborate with regional managers and on-site staff to maintain accurate resident financial records using PointClickCare. Operating on a full-time US Eastern Time schedule, this position requires persistence and strong medical billing expertise.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Responsibilities

- Own billing for 2 to 4 assisted living facilities (50 to 70 beds each).
- Manage Medicaid billing end to end, following up on denied, rejected, or stalled claims until they’re paid.
- Track outstanding balances and make sure every dollar owed is collected.
- Oversee billing whether it’s done in-house or by an outside billing company, and resolve any issues that come up.
- Work with the regional manager, facility administrators,



and on-site business office staff.
- Keep billing and resident financial records accurate in PointClickCare (PCC).

Requirements

- Several years of medical billing experience, ideally including business office management.
- Proficiency in PCC (PointClickCare).
- Strong spoken and written English for calls and emails with Medicaid and facility staff.
- Persistence: comfortable working through transfers and repeated follow-ups until a claim is resolved.

Qualifications

- Billing experience in assisted living or skilled nursing.
- Familiarity with state Medicaid programs and follow-up procedures.
