The assignment covers backend bugs, feature work, refactoring, and speed improvements. You prepare repeatable test setups, deterministic checks, and reference answers, then assess submissions and explain the technical basis for your review. Work remotely around your schedule.

- Build repeatable environments and checks that accept valid code and reject incorrect code
- Write reference solutions and document the approach a strong engineer would take
- Review technical submissions, identify defects and performance problems, and explain your reasoning clearly
