About the role
Teem places virtual assistant team members into healthcare practices, and provides the tool, training, and configuration to enable them to fulfill the requirements of their job more efficiently. This role owns that platform, called Team Member Claude, and ensures the system stays configured well, while building additional skills and projects to provide deeper enablement and support for the team members.
This is the first hire on our team of its kind. You will need to be comfortable with building a system and maintaining the necessary components, while the structure of AI continues to evolve very quickly.
What you'll do
- Own the platform day to day. Monitor the platform's health and usage across ~1,000 active team members.
- Maintain the platform's projects and skills. Build light updates to them as needed when leadership identifies a new outcome to support. This is a supporting part of the role, not the core of it. Most of the day-to-day is administration and enforcement.
- Partner with the product team on automation. You'll work with the developers who can build what's needed, but you will deliver the details and message of what is needed, then document it clearly enough that anyone else could follow it.
- Keep configuration in sync with leadership decisions. When leadership approves a new provision or update, you make sure the system's vigente configuration reflects it, every time.
- Audit usage against role scope. Check that team members are using the platform within the bounds of their assigned role, not outside it.
- Enforce corrections. When you find a team member using the platform outside their scope, you have the authority to correct it directly, not just flag it and wait.
- Document the system as it actually runs. Since this is a first version, expect gaps between what's documented and what's real. Closing those gaps is core to the job,
not a side task.
- Keep AI training content current. When something changes in the platform or in how it should be used, make sure the relevant Teem University course reflects it.
What we need
- Technically literate enough to be a credible partner to developers, while having good customer service skills. You can ask the right questions about how an automation works and document the answer accurately, without needing to write the code yourself, and then relay the core message back to the group.
- Background in systems administration, project management, or platform administration, with enough comfort in Claude specifically to make small updates to existing projects and skills when needed.
- Customer-service instincts. This person enforces process with real people, not a dashboard, and needs to deliver a correction directly without damaging the relationship.
- A sharp eye for detail at volume. This person needs to catch what's wrong across a thousand accounts, not just the obvious cases.
- Strong documentation habits. You have the instinct to write down how something works so it doesn't live only in one person's head.
- Comfortable being first. No existing team or process to lean on for this specific function.
Nice to have: experience in healthcare administration, or administering a remote-work platform for a healthcare-adjacent team.
What success looks like after 90 days
- You understand and have documented the workflows between our backend systems and the platform, including the automations and setup of connected systems.
- You have strong working relationships with our customer success team and the business operations team, and understand the unique roles within our business.
- You have audited and updated the relevant training courses and critical documentation to reflect changes to the AI that affect team members and their workflows.
