Tech Partner Leader - LATAM, AWS Partners

Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a world-class partner leader to accelerate cloud adoption across Latin America through strategic technology partnerships. As LATAM Tech Partner Leader, you will drive the partnership GTM strategy for Global ISVs, AWS Marketplace, and SAP across the region, serving as the primary alliance contact and orchestrating co-sell execution with AWS field teams.

This role requires building executive relationships with regional leadership teams of Integral ISV partners, developing and executing GTM programs that drive top-line revenue growth, and positioning AWS as the preferred platform for partner solutions across LATAM region.

Key job responsibilities

Partnership GTM Execution

- Execute GTM strategy for Global ISV partners across LATAM, driving partner readiness for co-sell through APN and Marketplace programs.
- Lead AWS Marketplace expansion across key LATAM markets, deploying local currency support, tax compliance, and seller enablement.
- Manage SAP partnership strategy and execution across LATAM, aligning with regional customer priorities.

Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management

- Drive top-line revenue growth through Integral ISV partners, Marketplace transactions, and SAP workloads.
- Manage and assist Partner Sales and Field Sales teams to jointly pursue and win customer opportunities.
- Lead regular pipeline review cadences, ensuring thorough and accurate opportunity tracking according to AWS sales cycle stages.
- Be the "Go To" resource for high-profile joint sales opportunities from sourcing through close.

Partner Enablement & Field Alignment

- Identify, enable, and qualify high-value Global ISV partners that deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Execute partner enablement and go-to-market initiatives at scale across the LATAM region.
- Drive field enablement and alignment between AWS and partner sales teams.
- Hold monthly/quarterly business reviews with ISV and AWS teams to identify corrective measures needed, best practices and lessons learned.

Strategic Collaboration

- Build and maintain executive relationships with regional partner leadership across LATAM.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (global partner Managers, Sales Leaders, Marketing, Legal, Support) to develop partner strategies.
- Broker internal resources, tools, and investments needed to execute business plans and meet goals.
- Utilize CRM systems and analytics tools to establish detailed metrics and processes.

Basic Qualifications

- 9+ years of developing and managing marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MBA highly desired
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Knowledge of cloud technology partner ecosystem and related products
- Experience working cross-functionally and across regions
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience influencing C-level executives
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs

The Position

Cloud Foundations product is a set of global, secured and well governed Cloud services. The product offers standards, best practices, and well architected Cloud services focused on the development of new and current IaaS and Serverless Computing.

The product is developed based on agile methodologies to support digital products and use cases.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Developing and implementing Boehringer standard solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation) in an organizational level e.g. network, patching, backup, policies, access, etc.
- Managing existing and upgrading/migrating legacy Infrastructure as Code stacks.
- Responding to cloud environment issues and monitoring alerts (ex. portal access, security findings, etc.)




- Assisting users with access-related issues and requests using tools to ensure adherence to security best practices including MFA, key management, etc.
- Ensuring the overall health of all Cloud environments with regards to patching, anti-virus, backups, performance thresholds, etc.
- Assisting the users with any Day2 troubleshooting issues.
- Ensuring on-going configuration management health.
- Migrating to new releases of Terraform, Bitbucket, etc.
- Creating and maintaining Runbook and other support documentation.
- Adhere to ITIL processes (change, problem, configure, incident management).
- Apply agile methodology and the Scrum framework while working closely with the product development team and the product owner.

Required

- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology.
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud based hands on experience in AWS.
- Strong working experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) especially working with Terraforms and AWS Cloud Formation.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the software development lifecycle utilizing the Dev Ops framework around CI/CD.
- Very good understanding and experience in networking and security knowledge, such as routing, firewall, VPN, TCP/IP, VPC, SG, Anti-virus, security risk remediation etc.

Mandatory Skills

- Good track record of hands-on working experience with AWS services.
- Experience supporting production Cloud work loads using native and 3rd party tools.
- Good interpersonal skills especially with a diverse and global user base.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools, processes, and procedures (e.g. Jenkins).
- Good knowledge of code and binary repositories (e.g. Git Hub or Bit Bucket).
- Good knowledge of Terraform or equivalent provisioning and automation tooling for building, changing, and versioning infrastructure.
- Some knowledge of Automation and Configuration Management toolsets (e.g. Ansible).
- Hands on experience in scripting skills like Power Shell, Ruby, Python, or Bash.
- Hands on experience and good working knowledge with Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Strong command of English language (both verbal and written).
