Company Overview:
Our client is a fast-growing performance marketing agency specializing in mission-driven organizations across higher education and nonprofit sectors.

Your Role:
As a Paid Social Manager , you will own the strategy, performance, and optimization of paid social campaigns across a portfolio of education-focused clients.
This role combines strategic media planning, audience development, creative testing, analytics, and partner communication to drive measurable business outcomes.
Unlike Paid Search, where audiences are actively looking for something, Paid Social allows you to reach and influence people before they begin searching .
You'll use audience strategy, creative, messaging, and continuous testing to capture attention and turn interest into meaningful actions.
You'll collaborate closely with Account Services, Analytics, Creative, and Paid Media teams to develop campaigns that connect with audiences and continuously improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Paid Social strategy and execution across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant social channels .
Develop audience strategies based on demographics, behaviors, interests, first-party data, and campaign objectives.
Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, and conversion-focused initiatives.
Partner closely with Creative teams to develop effective ad concepts, hooks, messaging, formats, and creative testing strategies.
Analyze creative performance to understand which hooks, messages, visuals, and formats are driving engagement and conversions.
Establish structured testing frameworks across audiences, creative, messaging, placements, and campaign structures.
Monitor key performance indicators including CPM, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA/CPL, and ROAS where applicable.
Identify creative fatigue and continuously recommend new concepts and variations to maintain performance.
Translate campaign and creative performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with Analytics and Account Services teams to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and attribution.
Stay current on platform updates, emerging ad formats, audience targeting capabilities, and paid social trends.
You Bring:
4+ years of hands-on Paid Social experience , ideally within an agency or multi-account environment.
Strong expertise across platforms such as Meta Ads Manager , LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, or similar.
Proven experience managing performance-focused paid social campaigns with meaningful budgets.
Strong understanding of audience development, creative strategy, and conversion-focused advertising .
Demonstrated ability to identify what makes creative perform and translate those insights into new testing opportunities.
Experience developing and managing structured creative and audience testing programs.
Strong analytical skills and ability to connect creative and audience performance with business outcomes.
Experience optimizing campaigns for lead generation, inquiries, applications, enrollments, donations, or other conversion-focused goals.
Strong understanding of metrics including CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA/CPL, and ROAS.
Excellenopify goal imports versus a raw Google Ads tag, enhanced conversions, offline conversion imports for the lead gen accounts.
When the numbers do not reconcile, you are the one who finds out why.
Diagnose the bottleneck, then go fix it.
Creative, offer, AOV, landing page, checkout, tracking.
Nobody is going to reassign it to another team.
Build the things the account needs.
Landing pages, scripts, reporting, whatever removes the constraint.
We are heavy AI users and we expect you to build, not just prompt.
You are a fit if
You have done this with real money.
Hands on Google Ads at meaningful spend on DTC and eCommerce, with results you can walk us through: CPA, ROAS, revenue, and what you actually changed to get them.
Shopping and PMax specifically, not just search.
You are fluent in the whole stack , not one campaign type.
Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, GTM.
Bing is a nice to have.
You are AI native, and you build.
This is a requirement, not a bonus.
You should already be using Claude or equivalent as a working tool rather than a novelty, and you should be able to build and ship a landing page with it.
You can communicate your ideas in English at a native or near native level.
You will be in front of clients constantly.
You need to explain your thinking clearly, sell an idea on its merits, push back when a client is about to force the account into mediocrity, and raise a problem before it becomes a fire.
This matters as much as anything else on this list.
You are skeptical of your own numbers.
You would rather run the holdout than protect the dashboard.
You can work US Eastern business hours for client calls.
Where you live is up to you.
Bonus: you have built or operated your own Shopify store, or you have run Meta at spend too
