Software Asset Management Specialist | Regional LAC RoleAbout the RoleJoin WSP's global Software Asset Management team and contribute to the management of a large and complex software portfolio across Latin America and other international regions.
We are looking for a Software Asset Management Specialist with hands‐on experience in software licensing and the ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, multivendor environment.
This role is part of Innovation & Technology - Infrastructure Technology & Operations and reports to the SAM Hub Leader.
You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams, software publishers and regional/global stakeholders to support accurate licensing decisions, timely service delivery, compliance and software optimization.
WSP manages a diverse software environment involving hundreds of publishers, different licensing models and frequently changing operational priorities.
Success in this position requires technical licensing knowledge, strong attention to detail and the ability to move quickly between different requests and publisher requirements.Your ImpactManage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing nee Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory .
- Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud first approach.
- Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
- Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Experience with patch deployment required.

- Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise.
- Support integral operations for remote, manufacturing and office‐based workforces.
- Mentor less senior staff.

Requirements+6 years of hands engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems Hands‐on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper Equipment and software Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
Extensive knowledge and hands‐on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
