Position Description
The AI Technical Lead is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering production-grade AI solutions.
The role combines strong software engineering and solution architecture expertise with hands-on experience in within cloud environmentsDesign and build automated solutions for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructuresUse continuous improvement techniques and data-driven analysis to improve delivery timeframes and qualityTroubleshoot and advise on advanced infrastructure problems for client escalations and internal operationsContribute to the development and productization of custom value-added cloud services that differentiate the company as a thought leader in the industryCollaborate with customers to develop operational runbooks and define alerting telemetry to meet client business needsPerform as a trusted adviser to internal and external clientsLead service transition build teams in the implementation of greenfield cloud environments, deployment of management tooling to brownfield environments,



and infrastructure migrations to cloud platformsAssist in the development and training of othersRemain informed of new developments and trends in the Microsoft and Azure ecosystems; make recommendations to management on desirable additions and developmentsMaintain up-to-date configuration documentation for client cloud configurations and deploymentsThe Skills You'll NeedExperienced with a variety of IT technologies, specifically Azure, and ability to apply that expertise to work with a variety of solution configurationsExperienced with migration of workloads from on-premises to cloud infrastructuresFamiliar with storage and networking constructs in AzureDesire to work closely with clients to identify business needs and map those needs to cloud solutionsAbility to quickly learn new technologies and adapt learning into successful implementationMust have the ability to work within as well as lead in a team-driven environmentMust be able to work within an agile or ITIL framework, change management, and regulated environmentsMust be familiar with Azure and Windows HA setups, administration, and troubleshootingMust be familiar with SQL Always-On deployment and configurationMust be familiar with Azure SQL PaaS and WebApp servicesMust be familiar with on-premise to Azure migrationsAbility to excel in an ever-evolving atmosphere focused on fanatical customer serviceAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload under deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPossess strong analytical problem-solving skills in order to build operational environments and troubleshoot client infrastructure issues rapidlyDeliver high standards of customer service for all clientsUnderstanding of IT and Microsoft Azure security best practicesAbility to understand, map controls, and implement InfoSec and compliance frameworksQualifications7+ years in a technical or service organization, performing hands-on cloud workA BS degree in computer science, related field,



or equivalent on-the-job experiencePrevious professional services or external client-facing experienceAdvanced knowledge of hyper-scalar cloud technologies, specifically AzureExperience with Microsoft SQLAdvanced understanding of Azure networking, NSGs, WAFs, VPN gateways, etc.Track record of practical problem solving, excellent communication, and documentation skillsExperience with scripting and automation (i.e., PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Ansible, Terraform)CertificationsCertifications Required:Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801)This is a contractor position with the ability to work from home but may require travel to a client site.Atmosera is an equal opportunity employer.

Experience with MLOps/LLMOps and AI evaluation/observability platforms
