About Kuboo Kuboo is a nearshore software consultancy from Argentina. We build products and extend engineering teams for companies in the US, Europe and LATAM. About this opportunity We’re hiring for a project with a leading client in logistics and consumer goods (FMCG), building mobile products used at scale. This isn’t the only opening: your application will also be considered for other current and upcoming roles that match the React Native and AI stack described here. What you’ll do
• Build and ship production mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
• Use AI coding agents as part of your daily workflow: write the spec, delegate, verify with tests, review the output.
• Own your work end to end: architecture decisions, code review, releases to the App Store and Google Play.
• Work directly with US and European teams, in English, with real time-zone overlap. Must-haves
• 5+ years in software development, 3+ with React Native in production. You have apps in the stores that you can show us.
• Strong TypeScript, state management, navigation, performance profiling and debugging on iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with the New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules), native modules and Expo/EAS.
• Testing habits: unit tests, plus E2E with Detox or Maestro.
• Hands-on experience using AI agents in real projects, and the ability to explain and debug everything the agent produced.
• Analytical, iterative thinking: you break problems down, test assumptions and adjust.
• English B2/C1 (spoken and written).
• Based in LATAM. How you work with AI (what we’ll ask about)




• How you give the agent context: project instructions files (AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md), specs, constraints.
• How you verify output: tests, builds, lint. You don’t trust “done” without evidence.
• What you don’t delegate: security, auth, sensitive data, complex refactors.
• Security basics: no secrets in prompts, awareness of prompt injection. Nice to have
• Daily use of Claude Code: subagents, hooks, custom commands, MCP servers.
• Building AI features inside apps with the Claude API or similar: tool use, streaming, RAG, evals.
• Experience with offline-first apps, background sync or geolocation.
• Native experience. How we evaluate We don’t require AI certifications. Our process is short and focused on how you actually work:
• Resume review. We read every résumé carefully, so please be specific: the projects you’ve worked on, your role in each, the stack you used, and how you use AI in your day-to-day work.
• English interview with AI. A short conversation with an AI interviewer to assess your English level.
• Optional coding challenge. If needed, a take-home task where you can use your usual AI tools. No live coding under pressure.

What we offer
• Long-term contractor agreement (no fixed end date).
• USD 4,000–6,000 per month, based on seniority and the evaluation.
