The Data Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the client's data platform.
The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple aspects of data ecosystems, including Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics solutions.Often, a Data Engineer will also serve as a critical communicator between other data science team members, working directly with the data scientists who develop the models for building AI systems and the people who construct and run them.About The TeamOur team works remote base, in a collaborative environmentWe havea strong team with opportunities to expand their skillsets and gain further knowledge across multiple parts of theorganizationHow You Will Make An ImpactIdentifying, creating, preparing data required for modern Data solutions and Data for AIDesigning ETLs and ELTs for data transformationsDesigning, building and management of Datalakes architecturesWorking with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc)Integrating and testing Data solutionsCreating and documenting the tests to meet requirementsWorking with Bigdata EnvironmentsManaging Data Cloud services, data access, security and data governanceAnalyzing and prepare data for Machine Learning workloadsManaging monitoring and logs of applications and servicesWhat You Will Bring To The TableExperience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks as ETL, data prepare & ingest, data streaming.Experience working in AWS environmentsKnowledge of Python, R or other data process toolsIntermediate/ Upper English LevelExperience with Apache SparkExperience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS or Microsoft Glue, Athena, Sagemaker,
