# QA Engineer / Part-Time (AT - QE- 20261022)CelaraLabsBuenos AiresRemoteFull Time## DescriptionIn this role, you will own quality for an AI product that helps funders and research institutions understand researcher expertise, check grant eligibility, and discover funding. Releases go out every week, and your goal is to make each one safe to ship and the next one easier to verify. Because the product runs on LLM agents and the code is largely built with AI tools, you will build an automated QA setup that runs on every release and can judge results that are never the same twice.This is a remote, part-time role (about 20 hours a week) as an independent contractor through Celara. You will report to the Engineering Lead and work a fixed daily band in US Eastern Time, so your time zone should be within two hours of it.What You’ll Do* Test each release in DEV and UAT and log clear, reproducible bugs in Jira.* Run the Wednesday smoke test and give a go/no-go on the weekly release.* Own our QA tooling and test cases so every area of the product is covered.* Own the automation repository and keep our CI test runs reliable.* Build Playwright automation in TypeScript and Python, and use AI-agentic testing to cut repeat manual work.* Turn every bug you find into an automated check so it never slips through twice.* Set the QA strategy and focus coverage on the highest-risk areas first.* Share results and risks every week,



before anyone has to ask.## RequirementsRequired* Advanced functional and exploratory testing of web applications, including complex flows.* Advanced test automation with Playwright in TypeScript or Python, with stable, maintainable suites (fixtures, tracing, auth and session handling) running in CI.* Intermediate experience with AI-assisted and agentic testing using Claude Code and/or Cursor, including skills, plugins, or agents.* Test strategy skills: you can explain what to test at which layer and why, and present results to non-QA colleagues.* Working fluency with Git/GitHub pull requests, CI pipelines, and Jira.* Clear written communication and a self-directed working style.* Availability for the fixed daily band and the heavier days above, from a time zone within two hours of US Eastern Time.Preferred* Experience testing AI or LLM-backed features, where output varies.
