The Finance Manager performs a variety of complex accounting and administrative duties requiring a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and organizational skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and work independently, exercise professional judgment and take initiative.

Note: Native American preference will be given.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and evaluate departmental budget performance, pro-formas, and cash flow analysis

- Coordinate accounting policies and procedures with the various accounting departments and operating department

- Create, analyze and maintain spreadsheets

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees and monitors the Purchasing, Cage, Count, Audit, Staff Accounting, Payroll and Accounts Payable areas.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE





- BA/BS Degree in accounting plus five years’ experience in all aspects of the accounting function ; or eight years of experiences in accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance.

- Three years proven supervisory experience

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Using the primary language identified as English, the following are required:

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITY:

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

- Driver's License

- Social Security Card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. The Employee is required to kneel, bend, squat, walk, and remain mobile for prolonged periods of time. The Employee will use fingers, hands and arms to conduct repetitious movements and tasks such as operating a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components, and must be able to lift up to twenty-five (25) lbs. The Employee must be able to talk and hear in an environment with varying noise levels. Requires working in an environment with exposure to smoke.
