Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, Remote) – U.S. Law Firm

Location: Remote

Schedule: Part-time, 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, aligned with California business hours (Pacific Time). Approximately 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM local time, with some flexibility.

Employment Type: Independent contractor

Compensation: $1,200 – $1,700 USD per month, paid in USD

About the Role A boutique real estate law firm based in California is hiring a sharp, motivated recent graduate to support our marketing efforts behind the scenes. This is a backend support role — no client calls, no sales outreach. You'll help us run and improve our marketing by coordinating campaigns, keeping our CRM clean, preparing content, and analyzing the data behind what's working and what isn't.

We're looking for someone early in their career who is organized, curious, and brings a strong work ethic every day.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the execution of marketing campaigns (email, social media, content)
- Keep CRM and marketing records clean, organized, and up to date
- Prepare and format marketing content, newsletters, and social posts for review
- Pull data from marketing tools and build simple reports on performance (open rates, engagement, conversions, campaign results)
- Track KPIs and flag trends or issues to the team
- Research competitors, keywords, and marketing opportunities
- Keep marketing assets and documentation organized

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (recently completed or completing within the next 6 months) — Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred,



but we're open to strong candidates from any discipline
- Comfort with Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis
- Strong written English — you must be able to read instructions, write clear summaries, and produce clean marketing copy in English
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with deadlines
- Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet home workspace, and a modern computer
- Availability for 25 hours per week during California business hours

Nice to Have

- Exposure to marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva)
- Any experience with CRMs
- A portfolio, class project, or sample of marketing or analytical work you can share
- Prior internship or part-time experience in marketing, communications, or data
