Job Description
As a Compensation and Analytics Analyst, you will work to successfully enable and implement key global initiatives to support compensation and HR reporting and analytics. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, able to consult and provide proactive recommendations related to configuration in these areas. The analyst will serve as the primary IT configuration point of contact for the compensation and HR analytics teams and should be able to lead high priority projects, as well as provide hands on configuration support.
• Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an advanced subject matter expert in Workday core and advanced compensation to support system configuration, operation and administration
- Serve as an advanced subject matter expert in Workday Prism and People Analytics
- Lead projects including gathering requirements, design and configuration, application testing, implementation, enhancements/upgrades, new functionality investigation and deployment
- Work collaboratively with HR teams such as Compensation, HR Analytics/Reporting, and Payroll to consult, provide recommendations, troubleshoot, research, and escalate issues as necessary
- Proactively identify and initiate improvement opportunities around system, process, data and user experience, and recommend options to partners
- Ensure data integrity by understanding and identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with cross-functional teams
- Create custom reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with timely analytics and identify business trends
- Develop and maintain documentation for all phases of development – from requirements to change documentation
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Experience
- Advanced Compensation configuration experience in Workday strongly preferred, will also consider candidates with strong Workday HCM experience
- Must possess a strong understanding of HR processes and data, business knowledge of compensation processes highly preferred
- Requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
- Communicates complex ideas and is able to translate technical details to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrates strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience utilizing discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information
