The Senior Fullstack Developer defines organization-wide development standards, leads architectural decisions, and drives technical excellence.
This role encompasses team mentorship, cross-functional leadership, complex project coordination, strategic requirement refinement, and business impact advocacy while serving as a company culture role model.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Technical Leadership
Create libraries of reusable components, own and evolve design systems, and set development conventions.
Define and enforce best practices, review pull requests for maintainability and quality, and challenge existing approaches.
Provide coaching and technical mentorship, identify and address issues in code versioning, local execution, and builds.
Generate refactoring strategies understanding impact, estimating execution time, and mitigating risks.
Design operational plans and runbooks, capture metrics, define operational alerts, and maintain environment oversight.
Define data interaction patterns and caching strategies, ensure integration tolerance and appropriate failure handling.
Lead performance strategy, monitoring, and optimization with SLA understanding and tactical/strategic solutions.
Define framework and library usage standards across the organization.
Define testing strategies, review and enforce test coverage, and create maintainable tests that endure refactorings.
Architect state management strategies and reusable patterns, identifying appropriate solutions for each case.
Guide and review responsive implementations across projects, define layouts for different solution contexts.
Review and improve team implementation, enforce pixel-perfection standards, and suggest design solutions.
Define and enforce security standards, implement secure architecture,



and ensure client compliance.
Design and implement async communication APIs with monitoring, understanding load balancing and cache management.
Apply schema evolution principles and compatibility modes, understand partitioning and message delivery semantics.
Architect async systems at scale, monitor job queues and throughput, and establish operational standards.
Define database strategy, handle replication, partitioning, and scaling while mentoring on optimization.
Define scalable solutions and make critical architectural decisions.
Team Development & Mentorship
Serve as a role model for company culture and help instill values in team members.
Create opportunities for knowledge sharing through workshops and training sessions.
Lead code reviews, mentor others, and ensure code quality standards across the organization.
Identify compliance irregularities and contribute to strong compliance culture.
Co-create implementation strategies, propose improvements, and orchestrate cross-team meetings.
Stakeholder Leadership & Communication
Promote transparency culture and enrich communication quality across teams.
Create opportunities to discuss issues, solutions, tools, and technologies in project contexts.
Evaluate flow beyond specific tasks, assess scope of potential impacts, and provide proactive quality oversight.
Optimize delivery processes including estimations, follow-up, and peer reviews.




Drive estimation discussions, validate scope and effort for complex projects.
Manage multiple urgent tasks without compromising quality while maintaining organization.
Define documentation standards and practices, identify technical documentation needs.
Product & Business Strategy
Act as business translator, advocating product decisions based on impact analysis.
Refine and challenge requirements to enhance business value and ensure team alignment.
Lead ideation of product improvements aligned with business and technical strategy.
Discuss enhancement proposals directly with clients and stakeholders.
Technical Excellence & Innovation
Define and implement development standards and best practices across the organization.
Lead technical architecture decisions and participate in strategic technology choices.
Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Identify and drive improvement opportunities in technical infrastructure and practices.
Establish quality gates and technical review processes.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in fullstack web development.
Proven experience leading development teams and technical initiatives.
Expert-level knowledge of multiple frontend and backend technologies.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design.
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
Deep knowledge of performance optimization, security, and scalability principles.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Business acumen with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders.
