Location: Remote / Virtual- Job Type: Full-TimeResponsibilities:- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and partnerships- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations- Analyze financial records, accounting data, and supporting documentation- Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to clients or management- Assist with tax planning and research on complex tax issues- Respond to tax notices and assist with audits when necessary- Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation- Stay current on changes in tax laws and industry regulationsRequirements:- Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing tax returns- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations- Experience with tax preparation software and accounting systems- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Ability to manage multiple deadlines during peak tax seasons- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus- Public accounting or tax firm experience preferredBenefits- Access to a $200K+ perk marketplace with discounts on 150+ integral services.- Option to withdraw up to 50% of approved earnings before payday.
