Now, imagine yourself in this position

- Analyzing the production behavior of legacy Alteryx workflows, SSIS packages, and SQL Server Agent jobs to identify undocumented dependencies, hidden business rules, historical workarounds, and implicit logic.
- Auditing and validating outputs generated by automated analysis agents, reconciling findings against source systems and resolving gaps, inconsistencies, and blind spots.
- Designing scalable lakehouse architectures based on Medallion and Unity Catalog principles, ensuring alignment with governance, performance, and security standards.
- Defining and governing enterprise data patterns for ingestion, partitioning, schema design, data typing, naming conventions, scalability, lineage, and access control.
- Documenting architectural decisions in a clear, auditable,



and defensible manner to support implementation and long-term maintainability.
- Approving and taking ownership of solution designs and plan artifacts prior to authorizing automated code generation and development activities.
- Providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineers and developers working in parallel streams, ensuring consistency and adherence to established standards.
- Resolving complex technical blockers, business ambiguities, and exception scenarios that require human judgment beyond the capabilities of the multi-agent system.
- Reviewing and approving Pull Requests to protected branches, ensuring solution quality, architectural compliance, and production readiness.
- Driving modernization initiatives by transforming legacy ETL workloads into scalable, governed, and cloud-native data platform solutions.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and platform teams to define technical approaches and accelerate delivery while minimizing implementation risks.

If you have…

- Proven experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Architecture.
- Strong experience designing cloud data architectures, including ownership of architectural decisions and solution patterns.




- Hands-on knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing in production environments.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers and developers, providing technical direction and architectural oversight.
- Expertise in Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Delta Lake, and modern data platform design principles.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, data lineage, and enterprise data management practices.
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and legacy ETL technologies such as SSIS.
- Knowledge of Azure data ecosystems, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to make informed technical decisions with incomplete information and document assumptions effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience reviewing and approving technical designs, development deliverables, and implementation strategies.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog implementations.
- Knowledge of streaming and real-time data platforms such as Kafka, Solace, or Lakeflow.
- DevOps experience, including deployment automation and platform operations.
- Familiarity with SAST tools and vulnerability management solutions such as Fluid Attacks.
- Experience supporting large-scale data modernization and cloud migration programs.
