Job DutiesThe analyst will work side-by-side with the internal teams of one of CRISIL clients, a Global Private Equity Firm in NY. The candidate will provide support to two different departments:

Pricing research produce customized reports to assess the ability of a company to change pricing approach.

Main duties

•Help analyze market and company data to evaluate price positioning, price elasticity and customer willingness-to-pay

•Support pricing research projects of portfolio companies and help understand consumer behavior for the implementation of pricing strategies

•Prepare products and pricing benchmarks

•Perform basic analyses in Excel and use statistical testing and pressure test validity, where required

•Perform scenario analyses to model potential impact of pricing decisions

•Convert data and results into understandable tables and graphs in PowerPoint presentations

•Partner with New York based pricing team

QualificationBachelor´s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or other related fields

Skills required

•Fluency in English language (Mandatory)





•High level of attention to detail and accuracy (Key skill)

•Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

•Strong quantitative skills are a must; exposure to financial or business modeling is highly desired

•Exposure to basic statistical approaches (e.g., regression) is highly desired

•Previous work in a pricing related role is a plus

•Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and handle large volumes of work

•Interest in pricing, finance, sales and marketing is an advantage

•Ability to collaborate with remote clients

•Willingness to stretch and work with general clients

•Flexibility and adaptability to change

•Able to work in a team setup – very important!
