Abbott seeks an instrumentation and control technician for its pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Florencio Varela, Argentina. The role involves maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant automation and control systems, with backup support for industrial services operations.
Responsibilities
Execute preventive, corrective, and on-demand maintenance activities on plant systems
Diagnose, repair, and adjust mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Perform routine inspections and report anomalies affecting product quality or safety
Operate and monitor industrial services equipment, maintaining parameters within specifications
Document maintenance activities, materials used, and technical observations in work orders
Requirements
Degree in electronics, mechatronics, automation & control, electrical engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years experience in industrial instrumentation, maintenance, and calibration
Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC programming, and electrical schematic interpretation
Experience diagnosing and repairing control and automation equipment
Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices
Proficiency in safety lockout/tagout (LOTO) and GMP standards
