Jetpacks! is looking for someone to join as Product Manager / Product Owner. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, executing, maintaining, and improving the automations and AI-powered tools that keep the operation of a US logistics company running smoothly.

You'll be part of a small, high-impact tiger team, working hand in hand with a Gen AI Engineer. Together you'll find the biggest bottlenecks in the operation, decide what to build, ship it fast, and keep making it better. Role Responsibilities

- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a portfolio of automations and internal tools that support the day-to-day operations of a US logistics company.
- Operate with high autonomy: identify and prioritize.
- Partner side by side with a Gen AI Engineer to design, ship, maintain, and continuously improve AI-powered solutions, from first prototype to stable production.
- Discover high-impact opportunities by shadowing operations, customer service, and finance teams, mapping their workflows, and quantifying where time and money are being lost.
- Translate business problems into clear specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics that the team can build against.
- Lead the definition and rollout of AI agents and chatbots that resolve customer and shipper requests end-to-end, including actions executed through internal and third-party APIs.
- Define guardrails, human-in-the-loop approval steps, and quality checks so AI-driven processes stay accurate, safe, and auditable.
- Turn manual, repetitive processes (notifications, reporting, data reconciliation) into reliable automated workflows, and measure the hours saved.




- Build analytics products and dashboards on top of operational data (shipments, pricing, carriers, routes) that help leadership make faster, better-informed decisions.
- Write and maintain SQL queries over large datasets to validate hypotheses, track KPIs, and monitor the performance of the solutions you ship.
- Act as the bridge between process owners and the technical team: align stakeholders, manage expectations, and communicate progress, trade-offs, and results clearly.
- Own post-launch performance: gather feedback, monitor adoption, prioritize fixes and iterations, and keep a healthy pipeline of next opportunities.

How will you be supported?

You'll be onboarded to the tech team organization. You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1-on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and are having a productive and enjoyable experience.

Role Requirements

We want all new hires to succeed in their roles at Jetpacks! That's why we've outlined the job requirements below. To be considered for this role, it's important that you meet all Minimum Qualifications. If you do not meet all of the Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.

- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a similar role leading digital products or internal tools.
- Technical background (engineering, data, or similar) or has shipped code to production.
- Demonstrated experience building working prototypes or internal tools with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar), comfortable reading, reviewing, and shipping AI-generated code (git,



basic deployment), without relying on an engineer for every iteration.
- Proven track record of owning ambiguous problems end-to-end and shipping without detailed direction
- Solid SQL skills and comfort working directly with data to answer business questions and measure impact.
- Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations, enough to collaborate closely with engineers on technical design.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and automation tools or prompt engineering.
- Experience mapping and redesigning business processes with operations stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving team.
- Advanced English level.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Experience with agentic workflows, MCP, or building with LLM APIs directly.
- Knowledge of AI evaluation practices, guardrails, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience with BI and dashboarding tools such as Looker, Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Previous experience in a startup or consulting working with US clients.
