Full Stack Software Engineer (Front-End UI Focus)

Our client, a US-based Health IT organization, is seeking a full-stack developer to join its engineering team. The adecuado candidate will have strong expertise in developing user interfaces and RESTful APIs using modern JavaScript frameworks and .NET technologies.

Our client is a Health IT organization focused on reducing healthcare costs for patients and providers. Its IT organization supports and develops new systems built on a range of technologies, including React, Redux, .NET Core, C#, PostgreSQL, and others.

Position Challenges & Rewards The selected candidate will contribute to development projects that are essential to the company’s business, revenue, and margins. At a high level, these projects involve building front-ends for high-performance APIs and applications. Those applications encapsulate complex business logic and integrate with a variety of external systems and APIs.

The selected candidate will work with various stakeholders to design and develop technology solutions. These solutions support a large volume of transactions, complex business logic, and advanced analytics. Along the way, the team’s engineers apply cutting-edge technologies and develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions. The ultimate goal is to make dramatic improvements in the country’s healthcare system.





Typical Duties and Responsibilities The selected candidate will act as an individual contributor on the projects assigned to the team. They will be involved in design decisions and will develop, debug, and deploy a range of technology solutions. They will also be expected to contribute in other areas, including but not limited to DevOps and Quality Assurance.

Required Skills, Experience and Background

- Expert knowledge and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, including modern JS and CSS frameworks for Single Page Applications (SPA)
- Highly proficient in React, CSS, HTML, Sketch, JavaScript, and UI design
- Expert knowledge and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, and PostgreSQL, including Entity Framework
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
- Nice to have: Redux

Desired Skills, Experience and Background

- Experience building user interfaces with modern technologies that also work alongside legacy technologies
- Experience working with high-transaction / high-throughput business systems
- Experience in the healthcare industry
